Asking patients for money is one of the most difficult activities that a receptionist or accounts receivable collector may perform. Success begins with raising the comfort level of the “collector” and providing tools to assist in the collection process. The presentation will focus on criteria important to maximizing collections and aspects of IDX functionality as effective tools. Participants will receive sample scripts, as well as techniques used by similar organizations when successfully implementing these strategies.
